The main reason I love it besides the heist itself, it the gun it allows you to obtain known as the Cavity 9mm. This gun is a vary good stealth weapon, and with the right pek decks and skill sets, can be used w\/ The Judge Shotgun Pistol and still allow you to have a detection risk of 3.I reccomend waiting until the game is on sale, because then this DLC will only cost $1.75.. Probably one of the better dlcs out there, not worth the $7 price tag, I would price it at $5. Adds a very fun heist and the tazer, would buy this for friends. YOU CAN TASE TAsERSEDIT: CLOAKERS CAN GET TASED TOOEDIT 2: Actual review now that I spent some time playing the heist.TL;DR Version:Overall, the heist is absolutely beautiful and 7 bucks is a definite bargain compared to the heists Overkill have released in the past, much to the scale of the Benevolent Bank. The environment is vibrant and exciting, and the map plays well to a vast variety of gameplay. The Cavity 9mm is a rifle that sends a message and is one of the most clear-cut and practical weapons to be utilized without the alluring nature of niche demands such as the flamethrower and minigun. Both Plan A and Plan B are alluring in their own aspects, suited for both playstyles without the cheap craps and cards pulled from the Alesso Heist, where Plan A and B are literally identical.Stealth is enjoyable, going loud is acceptable but leaves much to be desired.Although the map does have its quirks and offputting elements, it is as enjoyable as it is defining for the Dentist's final contract with the Payday gang.8\/10Let's talk about the weapons. The Cavity 9mm, is a powerhouse, albiet stating to be 9mm and looks like a Star Wars blaster. The modding you can do on the gun itself is limited in comparison to other weapons, roughly as customizable as the AMCAR.It is a single-shot weapon that boasts an astonishing 85 damage per shot, with its associated suppressor dropping the damage by only five damage. FIVE DAMAGE!Pair that up with Silent Killer and you have a solid Plan B for any Pro Job Stealth that fails. It's ammo is rather poor, with only 66 bullets overall with 33 bullets per magazine, equivalent to 1 full empty reload. The melee weapons are not much to gawk at, with most having as much utility as other melee weapons. The most exciting features turn out to be the "Buzzer" and the "Switchblade."The switchblade is pretty much an upgrade to the Nova Shank and the Trenchknife with 30 damage per hit.The buzzer is pure joy, it is a literal tazer that stuns all enemies aside from bulldozers. This includes cloakers! Now for the map itself. The map is as enormous as it is stunning. Much of the map is vibrant and holds the "Vegas" touch that screams "lol waste ur money here." There is even a knock-off Elvis walking the casino, follow him long enough and you may see him dance! The map is lively and allows for the players to actually spin the slots and attempt to win big, while listening to Bain rant to you about wasting money. Even when heisting, the objectives you have to complete makes this heist wild from start to finish, without feeling cheap and ripped off by terrible programming, albiet the number of cops spawning leaves much to be desired.Pre-planning is what Payday 2 should have been rolling out from the start, with options you want but can't have all at once. I mean really, this heist's pre-planning is more customizable than some of your guns. It is an absolute joy to work with and plan out, with each option in pre-planning as enticing as the others.Except for the sentry, don't get the sentry.I'm quite positive whoever loaded that sentry gave it a single clip. Now for the cons.During stealth, guards and civilians freak out when they see an open elevator. The map is mostly open space down the center, making stealth difficult and loud engagements terrifying, especially when the BFD is placed smack down in the center of that open space. The civilians who play the slot machines can spawn within each other, I shot the same woman 3 times and saw 3 corpses fall to the ground.Stealth and loud objectives are intermingled. Some objectives in stealth can still be completed loud with no vocal confirmation of to which of the two the objectives truly belongs to.In stealth, you can still place and light fireworks to signal the blimp to deploy the BFD, an objective set for if the heist went loud.I would give the heist an 8\/10.. Im no gunna lie i bought this for the taser not the heist 10\/10. Well, I was a bit hyped about this one. Alesso heist destroyed hype. GGC finally came out and I bought it for tests. And what can I say? Don't wanna my seven bucks back.At first, I gotta say this map isn't very big, smaller than Big Bank, but I'm sure it is bigger than some bank heist or jewelry store. Or even both on same map.I like preplanning, it's finally as good as I wanted to, not some Hotline Miami day 2. 15 favors, everything is customizable - you can even edit your drill or skip some objectives with it. Unlock all doors? No problem! Escape with a big blimp? Possible! Hell, you can even choose do you want to get in full force forward or go sneaky beaky like. Without any gear.Yep, this mission introduces civilian mode. You don't have ANY gear (guns, mask), you gotta find it on map. Without equipment you're invisible to security or metal detectors, with it you're in ol' good casing mode. What can you do in civ mode, you ask? You can scout the place, play the slots (you can even win some money) or open and CLOSE toilet doors. YES you can close doors! Finally! Shame it's only in one place.Stealth introduces guards patrol patches - they don't go anywhere, they're stuck on patrols. As for me, it's good, because you can clear a place without risk of any other guy coming here. Only problem is bugged detection - you can be detected in one second or you'll never be detected. Worst bug at all.Loud gives you a Big Fudgin' Drill, which you can customize and add... things which help, like medpack on top, sentry gun, faster drilling, timer (6 minutes with drill upgrade O_o). Drill doesn't jam (lel), unless you let cops turn off the power or it overheats. In XP and money, this heist doesn't give you too much or too low. Money is OK if you secure bags (worst part of loud because of their numbers), xp is a bit small. This map has very big framerate drops because of its size and lighting effects\/details. Also, it introduces BIG numbers of NPC, great map for achievement farming (225 kills on very hard).Overall, I reccomend this heist. It's fun to stealth, not so hard either, and good for loud. Also, it introduces keypads where you have to input code. Shame that you don't need to memorize it because numbers are reminded by Bain.@edit How could I forget about weapons? Let's go!Gun Is good for technicians - it deals 90 damage, has great accuracy, good concealment and almost zero stability - Its only con is semi-auto lock.Meele weapons are just meele weapons. WIth one exception. The Buzzer. It doesn't work like a normal knife or anything. It's a mothertrucking taser. Seriously. Now you can taze cloakers and tasers! Made my life better. My score for it: 9\/10Btw. It was made by Lion Game Lion, not Overkill. Maybe that's because it's so good? :DAnd playing slots bumps it up to 11\/10.tl;dr version:Good for stealth, good for loud, many new features, you can close doors, civilian mode, playing slots, framerate drops. 9\/10. The Golden Grin Casino for Payday 2 is a lovely addition to your list of heists. The heist itself is massive and probably the most dynamic and robust mission yet. Whether you do it loud or quiet, there are plenty of steps and challenges that await you. Assemble the BFD (Big Friggin' Drill) and cut through the vault with a huge laser, or use sleeping gas on the guards to quietly earn your Payday. There is TONS of loot you can snatch, equating to about $4,000,000 in loot bag items if you decide to go after it all on Overkill. You can also just play the slots if you're feeling lucky... But you'll probably lose. The gun you earn is the Cavity 9mm. It's a single-shot assault rifle that has massive damage and superb accuracy (100 damage and 19 accuracy if modded). It might not have a lot of ammo, but it sure as hell packs a massive punch. Pretty good addition to the assembly of weapons if you ask me. Better than the M308, the only other single shot rifle. It's Vegas. It's casinos. Your patterns, materials, and masks are all themed that way. Bright vibrant colors, and poker-themed items are what you'll get here. They look pretty sweet if you ask me.Buy it, just do it. This is the biggest heist you've ever encountered in Payday 2, and certainly one of the most fun and rewarding, much more massive than the Big Bank.9\/10. Well, I was a bit hyped about this one. Alesso heist destroyed hype. GGC finally came out and I bought it for tests. And what can I say? The Golden Grin is the final hurrah from the Dentist, and is it worth it? Well it's easily become my favourite heist, the map looks amazing, stealth and loud are both fun and both offer a unquie experience, from starting out with no gear in stealth and putting sleeping gas into the camara room, to going in and stealing C4 in the casino and drilling the vault with Sokol's homemade BFD.The weapon you get is a DMR, while it looks cool and has really good animations, the M308 is overall a better option, however this DMR you get is still a good option if you want to use something different. The melee weapons are rather intresting... well 1 is, you get a boring slot machine lever, a Croupier's Rake which is kinda cool, a badass looking switchblade, and an ACTUAL TAZER! However a lot of people say it's op and it's not, it's a waste of time running up to an enemy to stun them, instead of... oh I don't know, actually using a gun? It's fun and stupid, but not op like people say.The masks are mixed, the best easily being the Elvis hair, the visor looks cool and the other two are skippable. The achievements are a nice mix of easy and hard, and I had a blast getting them!Overall, a fantastic DLC and a great grande finale for my favourite Contractor.. This DLC has even more bags than Big Bank, and that's saying something. It's a fairly large, mostly indoor map, a whole bunch of objectives, and fun stealth as well as fun loud (as long as you have teammates). It IS a pretty big map, so my non-beefy computer lags quite a bit on it, but it's still playable. The Cavity Rifle is a pretty reliable DMR. The taser melee is great. The masks are all pretty cool. Also Gus Fring is Illuminati. Not super necessary cause you can just join someone who DOES have it, but it's still fun to play.TL;DR - Big map, slots, lotsa bags, taser. Played the slots, lostTried again, lostTried a other slot machine, Lost againRobbed the casino and took my money back,And tazed a tazer :D10\/10 will gamble again
